Kitesurfing at De Panne

De Panne sits in the south-western corner of Belgium, where the coast opens into the widest beach in the country. At low tide the firm sand stretches hundreds of metres, giving huge space to rig and ride, which is why it is also the home of Belgian land yachting. Steady south-westerly to north-westerly winds and shallow flat water make it ideal for beginners and freestyle.
