Kitesurfing at Bredene

Bredene is the only dune-backed municipality on the Belgian coast and has long been a favourite with kitesurfers thanks to its wide, natural beach. South-westerly to north-westerly winds blow cross-onshore, with chop at high tide and shallow flat sections at low water. Its relaxed, less built-up feel sets it apart from the neighbouring resorts.
