Kitesurfing at Laredo

Laredo boasts one of the longest and most sheltered beaches in Cantabria, a five-kilometre arc of sand curving into the bay beside the old town and marina. Its orientation gives cleaner, flatter water than the region's exposed beaches, and north-westerly and northerly winds provide the most reliable conditions. The huge beach and gentle shelving make it welcoming for progressing riders.
