Kitesurfing at Châtelaillon-Plage

Châtelaillon-Plage, just south of La Rochelle, is one of the most popular kite spots on the Charente coast, with a wide beach that opens into vast sand flats at low tide. South-westerly to north-westerly winds blow cross-onshore, and the shallow water gives forgiving, chop-to-flat conditions ideal for learning and freeriding.
