Kitesurfing at Valdoviño

Valdoviño, also known as A Frouxeira, is a long exposed beach in northern Galicia backed by a large coastal lagoon. It picks up plenty of Atlantic swell and works in south-westerly through northerly winds, making it primarily a wave spot for confident riders. The lagoon behind the dunes can offer flatter water in the right conditions.
