Kitesurfing at Doniños

Doniños is a powerful beach break near Ferrol, one of Galicia's premier wave spots, with a freshwater lagoon lying just behind the dunes. Exposed to the full Atlantic, it delivers serious swell in westerly winds and is best left to experienced riders comfortable in waves. The lagoon can provide an escape from the shore break when the wind allows.
