Kitesurfing at Barreiros

Barreiros, on the Lugo coast in north-eastern Galicia, is a long chain of golden beaches that has become a popular kite destination. It works in a wide range of winds from south-west to north-east and offers chop with small to medium waves depending on the swell. Extensive sand at low tide gives plenty of room to launch and ride.
