Kitesurfing at Vrouwenpolder

Vrouwenpolder lies on the Walcheren side of the Veerse Gatdam. At high or spring tide with a solid north-westerly to north-easterly wind a lagoon forms that is one of the friendliest places in Zeeland to ride. From May the kite zone is marked with signs and yellow buoys level with the first beach crossing; outside the season the rules are less strict. The NKV information point is at the kite school next to beach restaurant De Dam.
