CHECKING WIND
Medium waves

Fort-Mahon-Plage, at the northern edge of the Baie de Somme, is a broad dune-backed beach that opens into wide sand flats at low tide. South-westerly to north-westerly winds give cross-shore conditions with chop and small waves, and the shallow water and huge beach make it a relaxed spot away from the crowds. A long-standing favourite for wind sports on the Picardy coast.
